Witches, Wizards & Warlocks while born to angels, demons, humans, fae and even weres look entirely human, they show none of the physical traits that some of the species have and usually need to be tested, they will show themselves as human but they are not human.

They show amazing magical talents at a young age. These gifted 'humans' are often the product of one of the following realms, Astral Sea, Chaos Plane, The Other, The Void or The Dreamlands having touched a human and having altered their genetics to some degree. In other species it's a complete fluke, or they're the product of cross breeding other species with humans.

Some would call them naturally gifted humans, they have an understanding of alchemy and often dabble in potions and spells, also called ‘witchcraft’, they’re talented with the occult but, as many fairy tales tell, if they do to many things on the darker side of the moral compass they lose their looks, they begin to age even if they don’t die for a long time, and their beautiful faces become those of crones. The only way to reverse this is either by spells or by doing good.

Witches, Wizards and Warlocks seem to enjoy the company of the Weres. However they tend to dislike Gorgons, Chimera and Naga.

Types

Witches

Witches are the female counterpart to the Wizard. They tend to deal in potions, use magic orbs and canes and also have a 'flying broom', sometimes they have familiars that they've met over time instead of being able to fly.

Witches are those who deal with the lighter side of things, you wouldn't get a witch who had ill intentions unless it's actually justified, as such they are often blessed with the fact they look rather youthful, there are those who are quite old appearance wise but they're often well in to their hundreds.

They have access to the basic elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, the sub elements of Lightning and Toxin and the spiritual element of Aether [this comes directly from the Astral Sea] or Chaos [Comes from the Chaos Plane].

Wizards

Wizards are the male counterpart to the Witch. They also deal in potion brewing, however their weapons of choice are grimoires and canes, often have either a familiar who they've met over time or they're able to fly.

They also have access to the basic elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, the sub elements of Lightning and Flora and lastly the spiritual element of Aether [this comes directly from the Astral Sea] or Chaos [Comes from the Chaos Plane].

Warlocks

Warlocks are both male and female. They can brew potions but usually not very often. They use grimoires and magical orbs as their weapons. They cannot fly but always have a familiar who is often with them from birth.

Warlocks have access to the basic elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, the sub elements of Lightning, Flora & Toxin and lastly the spiritual element of Abyss [this comes directly from the Abyss] or Chaos [Comes from the Chaos Plane].

Misconceptions

Warlocks are evil

Warlocks are far from evil. They simply study darker magic than that of the witches and wizards.

The source of this misconception is likely due to the fact that Warlocks have a connection to the void simply from the Abyssal magic they can tap into and tapping in to it too much has dire consequences usually starting with warping their mind, then the abyssal ashing on their skin along with any of their skin tone vanishing to a snow white colour. Sclera becomes black, irises gold or red, and they end up having their form eventually be taken over by something from the void if they start using the abyss.

All Abyss linked magic will cost humanity to use alongside magic and health! So please use responsibly!

Witches Cackle

Incorrect, they can laugh just like everyone else. Some of course choose to cackle simply to keep the misconception alive as it means they can live normal lives outside of their witchy duties.

Wizards always look old

While in story books most wizards look old with long flowing bears that isn't always the case. They are after all born as children and gradually grow old, some can't even grow beards!

Ideals & Beliefs

Strangely, Witches, Wizards and Warlocks do not have any straight up ideals or beliefs outside of a single rule:-

Do not get caught doing magic by non magical folk unless absolutely necessary.

That's it. That's the only rule. Outside of that one rule they make their own moral codes.

POTIONS & SPELL SCROLLS [CASH FLOW] - WITCHES / WIZARDS

A Witch, Wizard or Warlock has a bit more cash flow than some other species as they make potions or spell scrolls for use, some even sell things such as tarot cards. Since they may have to abandon their shop or trade in order to hunt they gain a bonus of 5000 money to their bank and an extra potion recipe.

ABYSSAL FAMILIAR [CONTACT] - WARLOCK

This contact as the warlocks familiar allows them to transcend normal boundaries and gain an extra ability dot for no cost at all. This is set at the beginning. It can be at any space (5 or below) in any tree even one that isn't their own.

Other Information

THE CASTERS GLYPH

Casters do not have glyphs like other species, their glyphs are in fact invisible unless you are a witch, wizard or warlock.

This is highly unique and these are often elementally charged which gives an idea as to what sort of person used it or the intent.

The most unique thing about it however is it's a singular glyph, there's no messages, just a glyph to let others know that someone else has been here.
